Acquired by PLC in June 2019, the 205-acre Bob French Woodlands Preserve (formerly known as the Meadowsend property) is thickly forested, with a string of beaver ponds and wetlands running north-south running down the center of the property. The land’s wetlands are home to waterfowl, otter, mink, and beaver, while its upland forests are roamed by moose, black bear and bobcat. The property also features a grove of black gum trees approximately four hundred years in age. The walk will be moderately strenuous, over mostly rolling terrain with some occasional steep slopes. Most of the walk will on woods road or snowmobile trail, with the rest in the woods.
