January 2020 - PLC is kicking off our 50th Anniversary year with a great series of winter outings and events. On January 23rd, we host a public information meeting on our merger with the Bedford Land Trust. On January 26th we’ll take a mid-winter snowshoe through PLC’s Tuthill Woodlands Preserve in New Boston, our first public outing on the property since a timber harvest was completed. On February 9th we snowshoe at our Rose Mountain Preserve in Lyndeborough, and take in the newly-expanded views from the summit. As winter starts to loosen its grip, we’ll celebrate the return of Daylight Savings time on March 8th by exploring the Pulpit Rock Conservation Area in Bedford. On March 21 we welcome spring with a Tree Identification walk at the Tarr Sanctuary in Bedford and Goffstown. All of these outings are free and open to everyone - we only ask that you register. So if you’ve never signed up for a PLC outing make a New Year’s resolution to join us outdoors in 2020!
