Rose Mountain Rumble 2021

COVID-19 UPDATE – JUNE 11, 2020

After much thought we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Rose Mountain Rumble. Things remain so uncertain with the Covid-19 situation that we feel it is the right, if disappointing, choice to err on the side a caution for the sake of our riders and volunteers. As of now, we do expect to be running the Rumble again in 2021. Thank you for your understanding. Be well, happy riding, and see you next year!

When:  Saturday, March 21   Cancelled

Where:  Florence M. Tarr Wildlife Sanctuary, Bedford & Goffstown

PLC is celebrating the first day of spring with a guided tree identification walk at the Tarr Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday, March 21. We will walk the “Lo Flo” Trail which meanders through a variety of habitats in the eastern portion of the 330-acre property. On the walk we will observe how topography, soils, past land use, and natural disturbance all combine to shape what trees grow where. We will identify tree species using bark and other characteristics which are easy to see in early spring. The walk will be moderately strenuous.
